in high school, I was on the swim team. I did the backstroke. I was never the fastest swimmer, but coming up on regionals, the coaches realized part of my problem (aside from just being slow) was that I had a bad start. I didn't get far enough out of the water, so I had more drag and didn't go as far when I started as I ought. There was a solution

thank you! i actually felt kind of better today. there were even like 2 hours where i didn't feel like having my throat actually set on fire would be less painful than swallowing XD
