That article is so sweet. Just their patience for each other is amazing. It's beautiful that they have each other still for support, and that they can accept help with grace. Because at least in America, we kind of suck at dealing with sickness, aging, and death.

Im just posting more cos I realised I hadn't lurked your profile properly yet and I wondered what Japanese boybands you've written about :---P unless they can already be seen from the Communities you watch not that I actually want to know 'wink

p.s. I love languages too especially Japanese and French (but my skills have rusted, I mean, really rusted. I used to be so good in both of them geez)

KAT-TUN and NEWS mostly (though I wasn't a fan of either Ueda or Junno so I avoided them when I could, and 6 member news rather than 8 member news), and Toma. Arashi and T&T showed up in my giant space AU, and I'v got some porn with Kimutaku in it. I got bored with JE about 3 years ago, but i'm a packrat when it comes to things like comms ^^; i just filter them out instead of leaving.

So you're a native english speaker who studied Japanese and French? It's kind of funny: i know a lot of people who took Japanese who also took french. More than Japanese learners who were taking other European languages. I've always wondered if there's some kind of connection.

that's pretty much the same time when I got bored with my Japanese band-porns!

and mm no I'm not originally 'English' speaking(I've just loved the language all my life) but Japanese was easy for me because the pronounciation was the same as in our language. And, well, I don't know about connection, but I felt that French was easy too even though there was nothing much easy to it ;) and the fascination of the language was more of the kickoff than anything.

I think that whoever is native english has difficulties on learning languages like that because of the pronounciation

haha maybe they got boring then XD

Do you mind if I ask what your native language is then? I took Spanish and Japanese in high school and then dropped Spanish in college because I thought Japanese was so much easier because of the grammar. Like, obviously, you know that Japanese has just as much tricky grammar as any other language, but I never had too much trouble with it. Spanish, though, inflection threw me for a loop. It's probably better if I stay away from romance languages XD

hmm interesting. please elaborate. I'd love to hear more!
