When I was in Vienna I would stop at the Hotel Sacher, which invented the Sachertorte, and there is nothing like a piece of this with a cup of espresso or a glass of wine. SO GOOD OH MY GOD.
beating eggwhites = sooooooooooooo mendokusai that it makes me go guaaaaaaaaaaa even just looking at the recipe. then i hang my head in shame bc that means i'll never make it.
make the same day you need only egg yolks for some other recipe? i mean, you'd still have to beat them, but at least you'd have them separated out already?
