lately i have been writing in merlin fandom, so perhaps that. i have been reading in inception fandom, so if i decided never to show them to anyone, i might do that.

GUNDAM WING WITHOUT A DOUBT i am always looking for more of that good shit

002. Perfect World anamuan November 30 2010, 02:22:54 UTC
In a perfect world, Morgana's afraid of spiders, or lizards, not nightmares that come true and her surrogate father finding out her secrets, parts of herself she can't really control and definitely can't change. In a perfect world, it doesn't matter what Morgana is, or what she can do--it only matters what she does do, and why she does it.

It's not a perfect world, though, and Uther is distant and angry by turns, and Morgana is afraid, down to her bones of who she is, and what she can do, and what Uther will do when--if--he finds out. She's afraid of what her friends will think of her, if they'll look at her like a stranger. If they'll fear her or hate her. If they'll stand by as she burns.

It's funny, that, how when it finally sunk in that it was magic that sent her the dreams that had plagued her her whole life, everything changed. Her perfect world, if you asked her, stopped being her father still alive, huge and strong and loving and there, the way she remembered him from her tenth year, before he went off to war and came back ( ... )

JLKFEAIJEKLAGEA YES I NEED TO SO BADLY

but ugh sometimes i wish they stopped at season one, and then periodically introduced new knights for the round table, because seriously, what is this season? they started and it was so fresh and interesting and then suddenly, the writers were like 'MORE MALORY!' and of all the legends, i might hate his the most.

YES i don't understand why we haven't met more of them yet. if they introduce like, one per season, we're never gonna meet more than, like, four of em. -_-

hm, the thing with me, though, is that because i've never actually read any of the legends, by malory or otherwise, it's fresh to me? i'm only familiar with the gist of the story-- what your average person knows. so i wouldn't know any better if there were more interesting plotlines at their disposal. :\

i'm not sure i'd necessarily call them 'more interesting' (though i do think a modern re-visioning of the general idea could have been really interesting. It's more that there are a whole lot of them, from over a course of a couple centuries, and then malory went to compile them into one coherent story-line and he was like 'you know what would make this story better? MORE INCEST!' and wrote the arthur sleeps with his sister and she has mordred who will kill him thing, and just, no. :\ no.

"Colonel?" the hesitant little bleat belonged to none other than Rookie B and Colonel Aries wasn't sure he had the patience to deal with him right now. He chewed wearily at a tattered blade of grass--it was the last one in his pack and it needed to last--as he continued to study the screen in front of him. There must be something they were missing, something he had overlooked ( ... )

♥;♥;♥;♥;♥;♥;♥ i am SO HAPPY you like! it was admittedly very fun to write despite my initial "OH CRAP WHAT TO DO WIKIPEDIA SHEEP?!" the tab of which was open the entire time.

:D :D :D also that line may be my favorite pun of the entire thing.
