btw, did you know that Brazil has the largest Japanese population outside of Japan? apparently Paula's home city--located in Brazil's green belt (they grow lots of green veggies) right outside of Sao Paulo--has a huge Japanese community.
p.s. icon...there is biting! i wonder if people actually write fic about these guys.
i did actually know that about the japanese. a few years back they had a japanese-brazilian leader of some sort, and it was interesting because japanese papers put his v japanese last name into katakana. also, there was a building near sophia with a giant wallscroll of the pope, and had portuguese on it because of that population.

i copied some of the pg stuff to email last night so i would have something to read today. one was horribly fluffy, but the other was really pretty. except i'm a bit horrified at myself for reading hockey fic not that i've started watching the comm or anything. no, of course not.
