This is apparently the week of NIKKI GETS WONDERFUL THINGS IN THE MAIL because today a letter from mycroftnext came for me in this jkl;afeijk;ldk;jlgaea wonderful thai envelope. Mean Girls is a great movie!

I used to read a lot of feminist blogs but then I realised they made me hate the world a lot and hate a lot of feminists a lot often for being racist or classist or in fact quite sexist and dismissive of supposedly traditional feminine values etc etc.

Also, ah, good old confirmation bias and the way it continues to support wide spread sexism in the guise of 'common knowledge'.

I only saw it the one time, but it didn't really stick.

i am rather angry at the world! this is actually why I'm glad I didn't go to the girls' college i was seriously considering when i applied, because i imagine I would have just been a lot angrier at people. On the other hand, I might have had a better ability to explain why i am angry at people already.
i tend to not read the ones that make me angry at them all the time. though I'm realizing that I'm pretty classist myself :\
