we missed church this morning because the car was frozen shut. mom's been in an awful mood ever since. dad got the doors open in time for the 11:30 service at the vineyard, but by then it was too late. If the steelers don't win, i'm never going back downstairs. i like my head where it is, thank you ( Read more... )

omg I remember when my car doors used to freeze shut. THE WORST. You can spray them with wd-40, but half the time it would be locked.inside.the.car. By the end of the cold season I would have accumulated several cans, which mysteriously would disappear before the next January rolled around.

sorry you missed church, or at least the service you wanted.

the locks were also frozen. actually, right now, jianjian is trying to come home from her boyfriend's, except that the driver side door is now frozen open. last i heard, she was going to tie to shut so she could get on the highway.
why do things always work like that? and sometime in april, you find two year's worth of WD-40 cans in the basement.

we had a mini!service at home while mom sulked.

i don't know, dad did it. we were running a little late at the time, so when we couldn't get the doors open, we kind of gave up on the 10 o clock service.

Oh man, that's crazy. That's happened to me before, but my aunt gave me this de-icing spray that's amazing. I've got one in my car and in the house, ha.

Good luck with the job hunting! I'm going to have to start doing that soon T_T

i'm not used to having a car (at school), so i totally forgot about all these things.
