yesterday i picked up a consortium book from the library. today i'm going through the table of contents trying to remember 'why did i want this book?' A lot of the articles look useful for a couple of different projects, but none of them are ringing bells.

habit is everything.

AS;LDKFJ;ALSJD NODAME CANTABILE IS SO FABULOUS. <33333 I approve so hard. And the crack is because of the manga. I thought it was a fabulous addition. <3 Way to stay a little truer. (I've only read the first manga though so no idea.)

I'm glad you approve. Kaori-san borrowed Sato-sensei's copy. They had subtitle options in both written forms of Chinese, Malay, and English. The english subtitles for the english bits were pretty awful, though, so I wouldn't vouch for the rest of it.

you can definitely tell it came from a manga. but music is wonderful. and some of the scenes are just so cute.

ohmygod yes!!! The music in that drama made me fall in love it more than the prettiness of Tamaki Hiroshi (who, granted, is very pretty) but I am a classical music geek every now and then and this music totally made me squeak. <3333 I loved this drama lots. Like lotslots.

it makes me wish i still played the piano. it's like, all the reasons i liked it rolled into a drama for my viewing pleasure.

also, junpei from kimi wa petto/ogiwara from sapuri is in it too. WITH A LION'S MANE OF BLEACH-BLOND HAIR. that was so much love. XD

x. whatever the new project for field methods is. god i hate that class.

x. picking an actual topic for LangID and getting a data-set/analysis together for my presentation that's coming up.
x. article report of LangID.
x. my laundry.

....
god. when i look at it like that. i just want to curl up into a ball and sleep my way past all the due dates.

Gomen nasai!! But at least it's only 24 hours later! (Though you do realize that when you write stuff in Japanese, I can't understand it. Guilt would work much better in a language I comprehend.)

I'm so ridiculously exhausted. 8:30 AM to 7 PM straight (plus 9-3:30 AM yesterday), I spent helping Moose and his choir with their Madrigal Dinner. (Renaissance type thing. It's lots of fun; I did it when I was in that choir in high school.) And now I'm going to stay at home until he calls, and I will go pick him up. Occasionally, I think I'm a pretty good sister.

I was trying to think how you could have expressed those two sentences in a different way, preferably that is me-appropriate. But I really can't think of any alternate in this case. Oh linguistics. It's so fun.

Language table sounds like it was tons of fun.

From what I've heard, 'kansai' is its own country.

it's ok. you don't have to understand. i'm not trying to guilt you. i'm just expressing myself. I guess i forgive you a little though, since it's going to be tomorrow. IF YOU CANCEL ON ME AGAIN IN LESS THAN 48 HOURS I WILL FUCKING CRY FOREVER NO LIE.

awww. what. or rather. why were you doing that?
you are obviously a wonderful sister. I would have told him unkind things, i think, were i in your position.

yeah. i don't think i could either. f*ck has a special place in the english lexicon.

it was kind of fun. *nodnod* and then the mug put out the free muffins when they closed and sato-sensei zipped right over and brought the 2 paper bags to our table. And then there was also some kind of container of their other pastries, which she zipped over to and got one of those filled croissants. It was so funny. (and the she was like, 'nikki-san is laughing at me')
it was also really funny (the face she made!) when james-kun said he was going to the spice girls concert.

like wv is its own country. only funnier. and in japanese.

The lack of guilt is awfully kind of you. Especially since I'm so susceptible.
I PROMISE THAT I WON'T CANCEL!!!!! ALL I NEED IS LITTLE BIT OF SLEEP AND THEN I'M ALL YOURS! NO CRYING!

Because he asked if I would help him make signs for the thing (It's a kind of anachronistic fun, bizarre type of dinner, and the audience and an audience participant need cue cards.), and since Moose's handwriting is affectionately called "barcode," I said I would help. And there were 15 signs to make. And because I'm ridiculously OCD, I wanted to make them really pretty. And they are pretty, but it took a long time. And then we needed to decorate the entire cafeteria with lights and trees and yeah. Just a really really long process.

Free muffins is exciting as is the idea of getting those free filled croissants. I love those. I probably would have been right behind whichever who you were talking about. Omori-sensei?
I would have made a funny face at someone going to a Spice Girls concert too. Especially a -kun.

And less incest.

you are very susceptible. nanka. it's kind of like kicking puppies or drowning kittens. even i draw a line there sometimes.

It sounds like a good time, though ne. Pretty (because of your help). and fun.

sato-sensei.
SHE JUST. it was the best face ever. she was just trying so hard not to laugh in his face. James-kun was like "well, i went to one of their concerts when i was in elementary school (or was it middle school? i don't remember), so i thought it would be fun to go to one now that they're going on tour again.

INCEST IS NOT PURELY A WV PHENOMENON YO. THE JAPANESE PLAY I JUST SAW'S MAIN PLOT POINT WAS INCEST. NOT WV.
