i blame you too, so that's good.
and that plus key of life proves that you have good taste ♥

i didn't know that! One of my sister's korean friends thinks that they're probably at least partially american-raised. (which kind of makes them sound like beef, but...)

Ewwww... what happened with LJ?? @.@

My explanation for Jin's existence is that he forgot to queue for brains, and queued twice for sex appeal and dorkiness. :)
AHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA. *tries to breathe* Best thing I've heard yet. *diesssss*

isn't it though? it was one of those things i read and laughed out loud so hard my apt mate came by to see if i wasn't choking to death.

kjaflja it was traumatic. if it wasn't working when i came back from dinner, i probably would have spent most of the rest of the evening hitting refresh every couple minutes. *lame and neurotic*

i am not sharing XP
they're Patisserie ichijotei (i think? i'm having trouble finding the company. the box only says "tea leaf cookie" a lot).

i'm guessing you have problems with one of my #7's? Any others?
Mostly, i think it's a case of 'i like everything...almost'

i just googled that and all i get is stuff about patisserie ichijouji.

i like the 'almost' there. you don't like ryoda either, right?

WHY IS THERE NO KOYAMAPI IN YOUR PAIRING!RANKING?!?! *FEELS RIDICULOUSLY BETRAYED*

The warning was in Japanese, ne? What was the original Japanese? I'm curious.

This afternoon, I thought of you. Randomly after talking with my boss, I was like, "Hmm, what do Japanese speakers make of gaijin code-switching on accident with them? Does it sound unnatural to them? Does it take time to get used to?" because I tend to code-swtich a lot with my boss - when I said code-switching, I mean between tamego and "keigo" (that is, -masu form). I thought you might know the answer somehow because I imagine it's already been researched, ne?

there is! there is! it was just lower and i didn't feel like typing them all.

now i have to find the paper. hold on.

i don't think it's been researched, actually. that's not usually the kind of thing people look at, and in general, languages other than english are sadly underrepresented in lx.

the socio and theoretical branches tend to focus on native language speakers (and things related to them) only. acquistion folks are more interested in how second language acq works and ways to improve it. Tego took a class or two on codeswitching tho. I can ask if she came across anything. It's not really my forte, so I only know the really popular stuff.

I guess it doesn't really say that, now that i actually stop to read instead of skimming. whoops.
