I think this piece is great, but the idea pisses me off. "Life is a math problem and I have a calculator." The idea of taking the easy way out irritates me and even angers me. Life is about the road traveled, not all the damn shortcuts. :P

I guess, so, but at the same time, I think he has a point. I mean, the dishwasher? Totally just so you can save time. And don't a lot of these technological conveniences allow us to enjoy the road a little more?
