Godwin's Law.

Also, for relevance, there are some great posts by satyrblade regarding the WWII generation and our generation and what's important between them, and Rachel Maddow has a reference to Godwin's Law and why it sucks when people compare Obama to Hitler.

I don't really remember, and she doesn't either -- but it was something about how that generation used war to fix problems. There was WW2 used to fix the rise of fascism, the Korean War which I don't remember why it was started, the Vietnam Non-War, used to promote Democracy, Desert Storm, and now Iraq.

Good for you! I would have felt like punching her, if she sent that stuff to me. However I agree with you fully and you handeled it well--- and here's to --hopefully--- a new president that will make a frakking difference!

All the Republicans and racists in my family are voting for Obama. I feel like they have finally woke up and seen the light. I am hoping this is happening in families all over the nation.
