It's my day off! woo! Doctor's appointments! woo!

I saw the neurologist again today. He's putting me on Trileptal (oxcarbazepine), which is an anticonvulsant (anti-seizure) medication that also has mood stabilizing effects

I believe fuckin' Donny was on Trileptal for awhile after he was diagonosed bi-polar. I used to tease him about being Captain Tripps (the name of a really nasty disease in a Stephen King novel). Anyway, IIRC, it worked very well for him. He was much more calm and focused.

I'd suggest keeping a daily chart of your moods, etc, and see if anything changes over the next couple of weeks.
