Ariann again

Ariann just laughed hard ... in her sleep.

She does this more often than she whimpers or whines ... which tells me that her life is going well, that she wants for little, and that we are doing the right thing.

It makes me feel wonderful.

And it allows me to forget, if just for a moment, about money, bills, and so on.

I like watching my little dogs sleep - luckily they do that an awful lot

they dream and smile and wag their tails like greeting the doggy version of Santa on Christmas

or they have a little nightmare and twitch and bark... I wake them from these with hugs and kisses

either way - they know they are loved and sleep peacefully without guilt and fear... I want some of that

yeah ... my kitties do this sometimes, as do the doggies ... but it's not the same, y'know? :)

Not being one who is likely to pass on my own bad genetic soup to another living being... they are all I have.

I will have a little nephew as soon as he decides to vacate my heavily pregnant sister, I am looking forewards to being a 'close' aunty...

and I get to be that weird aunty that seems to be out there in the culture - the one who takes the kids to Shakespeare in the Park, takes them to get their ears pierced, helps them dye their hair pink, and dresses herself in wardrobe of the sub-cultural variety... the one that howls at the moon.

How sweet! Sometimes Andon makes little noises in his sleep. It really makes me wonder what he is dreaming about. Kids are what makes life wonderful!

thanks :) Yes ... especially when they're that young, you gotta wonder what they're dreaming about. But now that Ariann is 5, and she's going to school and such ... she has a pretty full life, for a kid.

it's Fizzgig, from the movie Labyrinth.

And that's the LAST time I'm telling you! *grin*

Ariann will pull that stuff with us ... not remember her animals' names, that is. We've taught her ways of remembering, though.
