Fascinating look inside Ianto's head as he tries one last time to get accepted into Torchwood Three and finally succeeds. When Ianto looks back, I think he'll realise the only mistake he made was in believing that Lisa could still be saved.

I voted for this to win, so you have my comments, but just wanted to reiterate how I loved the pictures you paint here. It kind of makes you feel like putting up and umbrella, it's so evocative. I especially like the part when he leaves the warehouse, you really capture the emotion we saw in that scene.

Thank you! I was re-watching this episode, and suddenly realized that it had been raining in that scene where the SUV pulls up and...this fic sort of came out of that.

And I thing I liked most about this prompt, I think, was just the ability to use the weather to really emphasize the mood of this scene, so I'm really glad that worked. :)
