Glad you liked the snow, too. I miss snow so much! (I moved to snow-less California about a year ago, but before that, winter was always full of snow, so... Around this time of year I always really miss it. ^_~)

This is exactly why I love your fanfiction. You have this great ability of saying things without having to be explicit -- like the longing Nezumi feels for Shion, or Shion's beginning to question NO.6 and getting angry with them. It's very subtle and beautiful. I also adore how Shion comes across in this naive, but still incredibly intelligent, which is very in character and I love it. (There seems to be a pattern in fandom of sometimes forgetting my white-haired boy is a genius, and you don't.) The entire thing read like it was canonical and captured the mood of the novels/anime perfectly.

Just, general kudos to you. Loved it, and made me crave snow so badly...

Oh wow, thank you so much. *_* I'm so glad that those subtle moments came out here. That's definitely what I was going for, sort of... bringing those elements of their relationship and Shion's thoughts out without being too blatant about it. So I'm really, really happy it worked! ^_^

I know what you mean about Shion, too. For whatever reason I do think it's easy to forget how smart he is. (Maybe we should blame Nezumi for that? ^_~) He's so good at processing things though, and at absorbing knowledge and really internalizing it. It's different from Nezumi's knowledge, but just as valuable, I think. And I think what I was trying to show here is just...how little things, and little moments with Nezumi sort of add to that collective knowledge of his. Or something. *nod*

Anyway~ Thank you so much! I'm so happy that you got what I was going for here. :D
