I'm a huge fan of your fics, and got so excited when I saw this posted at the no6 comm! This is pretty different from all the other no6 au's out there, but it definitely works. Loved it!

Guh ;~; I loved this...but I also hated it, because Nezumi still left...and of course I can rationalize all I want that he'll come back in every incarnation, but there's only so much a girl can take...

ANYWAYS. Shion was absolutely adorable, and even though they had this limited interaction, their connection was really great and natural, and I loved all of the bits where they felt comfortable and familiar with each other.

Somehow this was just AU enough it almost felt like a dream, and there were so many points I wanted to know more about--like how Shion's hair got that way, where Nezumi was from and why he was wandering, what would bring him back to Shion. I feel like that was a lot of what made it great though, the transient feel to it :3 Great job as usual!

Yeah, he absolutely comes back in every incarnation for me too... Unfortunately that means he also leaves in every incarnation. *sigh* ;_;

But yay! I'm really happy you liked this. :D It's so very much not like me to write AU, so I really wondered if it was coming off the way I wanted to. ^_~ I think the main thing though is they always have these little moments of connection, no matter what, so... I'm happy that worked! ^_^

That was so good. I love so much your way to portray them. And.. he comes back one day, right? Right? Right? Q_Q

Of course he comes back! fencer_x mentioned the same thing, but in my mind, every incarnation of Nezumi always comes back, so... Yes! ^_~

Thanks so much for reading - I'm really happy you enjoyed it. ^_^

When I read that they met at a "club"... I totally expected it to be a school activity club, lol. Enough of me being dumb. =p

I liked how you were able to work in elements of canon into this AU, b/c although the surroundings were changed, some events were still the same. It's kind of like you were incorporating a lot of important aspects of canon into this one meeting. You were able to capture a lot of the important feelings between them, too, and translate that to an AU. Their draw to one another and strangely immediate comfort sort of come to mind. =)

*laughs* "The one where they meet at karuta club", perhaps? :D

And yay, I'm really glad you liked the canon elements. I think that was probably my favorite part of writing this. It was fun to be able to sort of keep all my favorite moments between them, and sort of transpose them into a different setting. :D And definitely - the draw and the comfort are the main things I was hoping you'd take away from this. :D

This is as lovely as I thought it would be! I really like the naturalness of their connection, and the way you seemed to effortlessly pack the highlights of canon into one night. Really well done. The descriptions in this are, as always, beautiful and well done. :D

Thank you~ ♥ This was totally my 'highlights of canon' fic, lol. And I'm really glad that it worked. :D I'm happy that their connection came off as natural, too. I was sort of worried that it wouldn't feel as...fated, or something, when you take away the whole Shion saving his life thing? But I'm glad it seems to have worked here. :D
