You know... I really don't know, lol. The first time I watched it, I was expecting full-length episodes, so I think that's a big reason why I had such a "WTF" reaction? XD;;; I decided to give it another try though, and this time I actually think it's pretty funny. My plan was basically to turn it on, and just keep the episodes coming until I got bored, and... I never did. ^_~ I think it's the sort of thing that you have to be in the right mood for too, maybe? Because it's really...silly? :P

...And I'm actually still not sure I get the whole cosplay/slash phenomenon that goes with it. :P The humor I can appreciate though. 8D

The first time I tried it, I wasn't expecting full length episodes... but I guess I was expecting for more coherency? (I'm having a hard time verbalizing it.) Like, I feel like the shorts were too short... like they were working up to something maybe, but then they moved on before it was over (to something completely different). I think we gave it like 5 episodes until... we got rid of all traces of it. XD;;;

Maybe it's just not my thing. (Maybe I'm just super picky when it comes to the "humor" genre.)

Mmm, yeah, I do know what you mean. I find myself thinking a lot of the time that it'd be better with regular-length episodes? Group all the related shorts together instead of splitting them all up? But what I did this time was just set VLC to play-all so I didn't notice as much.

I usually don't watch humor, so... Yeah, I guess I'm not as picky as far as that goes? Who knows. I guess is really is sort of a love/hate thing...

2) Hetalia sounds like an interesting concept to me and I can see how it had good potential to be funny...but I get this feeling it's a slightly more specific kind of humor than your usual comedy and either have people love it or hate it. Perhaps one of these days I'll check it out too.

Yeah, I do think Hetalia might be one of those things that people either love or hate. I really didn't get the whole craze over it for a long time, but for whatever reason when I tried watching it again, I enjoyed it? So maybe it depends on your mood. ;) I'd be curious to see what you think if you ever watch it. 8D
