My cat used to do the same. XD I guess they feel like they have the place for themselves when you sleep. ^_~

I've been wondering about Splice, because I wanted to see Hewlett but... well. ;)

*laughs* Yeah, I guess that's probably it. XD It really drives me nuts though. @_@

I mean... It wasn't so bad that I turned it off? XD; But when the sound on my rip cut out for the last 10 minutes of the movie, I really didn't care. :P It was just... kind of a bad sci-fi movie. XD;; And David's character was a bastard, but not really the good kind. ^_~

We've actually trained the cats to sleep with us, so they're generally up for most of the day (though they will laze around, and sleep on and off), and then will curl up with us in bed. What I'd recommend is trying to keep them busy during the day, and then lock them in the bedroom with you when you're going to sleep - it might help make them know that nighttime is for sleeping, daytime is for play.

You know, before we moved, they used to do that too--they'd sleep off and on, and then almost always end up curling up with us in bed. So maybe they're still adjusting to being in a new place?

And wow, so they're okay with being in your room with the door shut? Mine sort of go nuts with closed doors, scratching and whining and just acting really obnoxious. XD;; I haven't tried that in the new apartment yet, so I guess it might be worth a shot!

1) Aww...they're still doing that? I'll bet they are still excited to be there. Though, I was under the impression that cats were generally nocturnal animals. But then again, (based on others people's comments and your replies) it seems that you can "train" a cat to sleep along with you. So good luck! Hopefully they'll settle down soon.

2) I find myself thinking that very same thing in regards to a lot of shows...*sighs* The world would be a far better place if fanfic writers had the run of things...

3) It's good to have some "me time" and to get your head back on straight, especially after moving. And by the sounds of it, you're spending your time quite wisely ^_^. Good luck with your (very near future) job search though! <3

Yeah, I'm sort of thinking maybe they'll settle down eventually? And actually--they were okay last night! ...Either that, or I was more tired than usual. :P If they keep doing it though, I think I will try to see if it works to shut them into the bedroom with us. Or OUT of the bedroom, lol.

*sigh* Yeah. ;__; It's so frustrating sometimes. Fanfic writers always know the right decisions to make. ;)

I agree! :D ...At least I hope I'm using it wisely. *cough Torchwood obsession cough* XD; ...I should be studying more Japanese, at least. ^^;

I once read that cats do not sleep that much, they just lay there with their eyes closed, so they can react if something happens. Maybe you should make something really interesting for them to play with during the day, so they sleep at night? But I guess they prefer night cause they can see anyway xD

And btw, isn't Children of the Earth that series of books about prehistoric ppl?

Ah, it may be a book series too but I was referring to season 3 of Torchwood, which apparently has the same name? =D Unrelated though. ^_~
