Just a random curiousity...

So Naoya posted this picture today. And the doll in that picture, to me, looks suspiciously familiar to these, right? O__O

So I really just wonder. Does this corroborate the theory that these were a gift from a fan?? Like, maybe someone gave them to select members of the Burimyu cast, or something? Or am I just insane? :D

I'm quite curious. 8D

txn, burimyu

Can't anyone get/make those kewpie dolls, though? And then just decorate it however they want?

I'd think if they wanted Nagayan to have a doll because they like BuriMyu...they'd have given him a Hitsugaya :P Naoya may have bought that one for himself--but those ones of Nagayan's were definitely handmade, and well...why would they give Nagayan one that clearly looked like Tuti? XD;;;;

Yeah, I'm sure the dolls aren't exactly hard to come by, I just thought it was an odd coincidence... I dunno, I think I made the connection just because the only place I've seen them like... ever, has been on these 2 blogs. But maybe they're more popular in Japan? Have you ever seen different versions like... in stores over there or anything? *_*

I think I just answered my own question. Check this out. 8D I...never knew they were such a big thing over there. *_*

Yeah, I think they're basically just like... customized kewpie dolls? I haven't seen many of them here, but maybe in Japan they're easier to find?

That would be fantastic if the entire Burimyu cast just had these sitting around their houses. =D

It really would be. :D And then they should sell them as official Burimyu merchandise, because I want them too!
