I really want to go home...

Jan 07, 2009 14:33

I swear, I had plenty of work to do when I got here today, but somehow, it's 2:30, and I've run out of things to cross off my list. ...Or, you know, I've almost run out, to the point where the only things left are things that are really only on there in theory, and not because I ever really plan on doing them. >_ ( Read more... )

work, rambling

Random question! What is Jeremy going to school for? (Unless you or he doesn't feel comfortable telling me)

Less random question! Did you enjoy your gym? Until this past fall, I always saw them as just a place to run inside when it got too cold to run outside, but then I started going to classes and stuff and...I really liked it! I just got back from there, actually, haha.

He's getting his MBA. :D He did a major career switch about a year ago (we originally moved here so he could get his masters in clarinet performance ^_~) and so he started with the MBA program at the U-M in September and will finish in 2010. *nodnod*

I really did enjoy the gym. I think I might join, at least for the next 6 months, since they're running this half off introductory offer thing. XD It's nice though--not huge, but even going at the prime lunch hour yesterday there were tons of machines open, so... Yeah, I was happy. XD Do you have to pay to use the gym at your school? [/raaaambling] :P

Oh wow that's really cool...good luck to him! :) A friend of mine just graduated in clarinet performance from UW-Stevens Point. And now she lives in Australia. Um. Not that those two are related, lol.

Haha, no the U's rec comes with our regular student services fees, but I live so far off campus now that it was easier and closer to join a gym over here. Plus, I never have to wait for a machine or share a lane in the pool, which I agree is super nice. :D

Yeah, I'm really hoping that...there will be at least one job left for him by the time he's done? XD;;; In a way though, I think he picked a good time to get this degree, just since with the financial crisis and everything, business schools are getting a lot more competitive to get into, so... Yeah, I think he made the right choice. ...So your friend isn't playing in an orchestra or something in Australia? One of Jeremy's clarinet-playing friends is teaching in Thailand now...

Yeah, it's really all about convenience, I think. I'm planning to give this new gym another week and see how crowded it gets down there. It turns out that the undergrads don't come back until next week, so... I'm curious to see how crowded it will get then. >_> I HATE having to wait for machines. XD;;

>__> I hope you were able to go home soon?

Jeremy doesn't like cats? xD
Hm... cats are more independent than other pets, I guess? Maybe they won't cause too much trouble even while in an apartment?

Well, taking in consideration the fact that you guys are going to move soon... yeah, 2 cats may be too much, but I don't know... D:
I'm sorry, I fail at trying to help you! xD Haha

Did you like the gym??

Well...I had to wait until 5:00, but... I survived. ^_~

It's not that he doesn't like cats, but he's never had one, so he's never as into the idea as I am. ^_~ I wouldn't think they'd cause that much of a problem either, but... Yeah, it's really the idea of moving that I think might stop us. *nods* But we'll see, I guess. We have a little time to decide, since they're not moving until July...

I did. :D It's new and not nearly as crowded as I thought it would be, especially since it's free this week, so... I'm thinking I might join. :D

Take the kitties, all of them! We have three cats at home and it´s not that much different from two or one cat. Cats are the best, you don´t need to look after them all the time and when there are two of them they won´t feel alone *nod*

*nodnod* Yeah, I was sort of thinking that maybe two wouldn't be that different than one after all... I just need to convince Jeremy of that. :P
