1. I think it was because of True Blood. Definitely. Though we also have Harry Potter, Twilight, Grey's Anatomy and Heroes in common. (Not to mention Alexander Skarsgård, right?)

I'm not much of a fan anymore but for years I've been blog reviewer of the show- and like you're part of twilightfansaga (btw have you picked your mods yet?)- I run the only/biggest comm for the female fans (no penis' allowed, they're all about the divas anyway). Most of my LJ friends for a long time have just been WWE that come to my journal to read the weekly review (which I've been slacking on because it's become rather painful to watch) and test my expertise because I have 20 years of watching it under my belt- which is also why I constantly have wwe icon posts and fic stuff for them. Not so much for myself anymore. I almost am to the point where I could careless. It's not the same show I watched when I was 13 or 23
