Challenge 16 // Submit
Whatever people can think about him as a person and Force-user, no one can't deny that Anakin Skywalker is the greatest pilot that Galaxy had ever seen and will see. The theme was inspired by senbonzakura77. It was hard to stop reading all additional information, when formulating this, it's a really big and interesting theme (and preeeetty photos). And it was very pleased surprise, reading a military stuff, to discover that one of his Clone Wars era ships was called "Azure Angel" in honor of Padmé (just aww)))). Impossible to include the information about everything, so I was mainly focused on some that were shown in the movies and associate with him. Other are from very EU and most of us don't really close with it, but if you are), surely, you can use other material from comics/games/cartoons. Hope you'll enjoy this as well and there will be lots of beautiful new art.) The deadline is Tuesday's evening.

The Naboo Royal N-1 starfighter
Eta-2 Actis-class light interceptor
Anakin Skywalker's first craft was painted a bright yellow color against a metallic undercoat, what as he said was a tribute to his childhood Podracer. He lost it in the Battle of Coruscant when the Invisible Hand broke in half and temporarily flew under a more standard green and white paint scheme, which he used in the Mission to Mustafar. When Anakin Skywalker became Darth Vader, he piloted new black Eta-2 during some of his early missions for Emperor Palpatine as the Great Jedi Purge continued, sometimes flanked by V-wing starfighters. Vader was assisted in the new fighter by R4-K5. Vader's opinion of the craft was very low, due to the fact that his cumbersome armor made it incredibly difficult to comfortably fit into their cockpits. He quickly switched to his TIE Advanced x1 as soon as it was ready.
