Challenge 55 - Submission
So everyone, it's me again. I know you haven't heard from me for quite some time, which mainly was caused by my school giving me tons of homework and all that stuff. I bet you know what I'm talking about.
Anyway, I haven't gotten around to do the banners for our special challenge yet, but I will get them ready soon as I have some kind of first-idea-file if that makes sense. I have already done the banners for challenge 53, I think that was it, but I won't post them tonight if I really don't have the time to upload them.
Okay now, let's talk about the new challenge now. I've actually been pretty shocked this afternoon as I heard about sith_romantic stepping down as the maintainer of this place and have been asked to post the new challenge by our new moderator _childish_fears since she wanted to get used to the new schedule before posting anything.
This pretty much sums up why this challenge is going to be something we didn't have here before.
The Association Challenge
Or The Tribute Challenge.
That's what it's called. It's pretty easy, so I hope a lot of you will enter and submit their beautiful art work as this challenge is going to be a tribute to our amazing (ex-)maintainer and (ex-)moderator sith_romantic.
Here are the rules:
» The first and most important guide line to this challenge is that your icons have to present your associations with our former maintainer and moderator. Whatever you think reminds you of Tanya is alright to be iconed. You may take her art work as an example. I've got a banner showing all her icons here!
Ideas: Re-create some of her artwork, re-use some of her favorite images of Anakin and Hayden, include her favorite songs, try to express how you feel about her or her stepping down etc etc etc. There are no limits for your associations.
» Secondly your work has to include either Anakin Skywalker or Darth Vader, but in this challenge you're free to use any image of Hayden Christensen as well.
Apart from that, the usual rules apply:
+ You can submit up to four icons commenting on this entry, comments will be screened.
+ All effects are allowed, except animation.
+ Follow our general rules (» user info).
+ The deadline for this challenge is Monday, November 23rd @ 6:00 AM GMT (CURRENT TIME).
