Fanmix challenge
Fanmix is the collection of songs gathered together by you and united by the common theme, and surely accompanied by the art!
This challenge is to create the fanmixes about Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader.
ABOUT
+ Your mix can have any theme you like. For example, it can be designed to set the listener on a particular mood (cheer them up or conform the sadness), dedicated to the particular moment (scene, Episode), theme (e.g.: Friendship), relationship, fanfic or generally to Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader.
The post with your mix should contain: **
- list of the minimum 5 songs *
- 1 front cover art - the square banner sized 500x500 px illustrating and presenting your mix
- at least 1 icon inspired by the mix (up to 5) ***
+ The voting will consist of two parts - one for the cover arts and one for the icons.
GENERAL RULES
+ You will be given the posting access to create your own post with the entry to the community.
+ When posting the entry please link us to a public post in your journal or community. Cover art can be used as a preview and shown above the cut.
+ Post your mix in your own journal or community in a - as previously mentioned - public post.
+ Don't submit your entry to any of the posts in this community, make your own post - this is what you have posting access for.
+ Please, add the theme of your mix to the subject line of your post (for example: Challenge 106 // Friendship). Stick to the tags: user: you, challenge 106.
+ For the cover and icons you can use ANY pictures/fanart you want. Moons of Iego galleries.
+ You can submit up to 2 (two) fanmixes for this challenge.
+ The deadline for this challenge is Monday, October 24th 31st @ 3:00 PM GMT (CURRENT TIME).
Current number of entries: o5 / 21 icons.
* UPLOADING THE SONGS IS OPTIONAL.
If you want to include them, you can upload each one separately or create an archive with all of them - either way is fine. Files of these types can be uploaded to the sites like Sendspace or MEGAUPLOAD.
If you are unsure of where to search for the songs you can try mp3_share or other music sharing communities for this purpose.
No restrictions towards the genre of songs.
** Illustrations or quotes fitting with the each song as well as the back cover art containing the track listing are definitely allowed, but completely OPTIONAL!
*** For the icons the usual rules apply: all icons must feature Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader, must be made especially for this challenge and by you; all icons must fit LJ standards (100x100 px, 40 Kb or less, .jpg, .png. or .gif format). All effects are allowed, except animation.
