ASECS 2012

So here I am, still in my jammies, sitting in my hotel room and listening to birds singing and kids playing down in the pool. I am in San Antonio, Texas, for the 2012 ASECS (American Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies) conference. This is my first conference, and I have to say... I have found my people. Especially among the other grad students

Well, my paper was about how readers functioned within print culture, and that anonymous publishing both benefitted them, since works were open to interpretation, and that they actually had some power to enforce their preferences through how they participated
