I Swear

Oct 18, 2010 02:16

I swear, since seeing your face,
the whole world is fraud and fantasy.
The garden is bewildered as to what is leaf
or blossom. The distracted birds
can't distinguish the birdseed from the snare.

A house of love with no limits,
a presence more beautiful than venus or the moon,
a beauty whose image fills the mirror of the heart.

You should do the one about the milk fountain. That just sounds incredibly dirty.

I know I've read that one somewhere, but I can't quite lay hands on it and I'm not sure whether it fits my mood at the moment. Will bear it in mind. Hmmmm, I should send you a poem. *rummages*
