Metric's latest album "Fantasies" usually cheers me up. Not exactly cheery, but just cynical enough so that someone else's happiness doesn't end up making me feel worse.

Failing that, Gogol Bordello. All of it. Can't not be happy listening to gypsy punk.

I like Metric, will have to check that one out. Hooray for non obnoxious cheeriness!

And you`re so right about Gogol Bordello - feeling blue while listening to them must be quite absurd.
