When your governor alights his white horse and leads the entire state to secede, please know that you have a place here.

It's not quite as balmy as you're used to, but summer's coming and you'll have a few months to find a more habitable clime before the snow flies again.

I'm sure it must be nice to live in a place that doesn't have any extremists of any kind, but me... I like it here so I guess I'll stay in Texas with the rest of my inbred booger-eating moron kinfolks.

If this were representative of all Texans, it wouldn't be nearly as absurd, ironic or amusing. If there were even the chance that Perry could be successful, it would be terrifying.

If I didn't believe in the people of Texas, and their fundamental realism and common sense, this post would not have existed.

Considering the fact that Texas is only one of a dozen states wanting to declare "sovereignty" (including the state in which I live, by the way), this is everyone's problem, not just Texas'.

No offense intended.
