As far as the material things go, it's going to be a rather meager Christmas here this year. I'm trying not to worry too. There are a few people who are NOT getting presents because I don't feel the need to waste money on them (snark); but family-wise, and true-friend-wise, I'm not trying to hold back.

No baking on my part, though. I leave that to experts like you.

Oh, guess what I'm doing tomorrow? I'm cooking a HUGE meal for myself - I bought a whole turkey breast and I'm going to go all-out and find a recipe for a nice glaze and bake it. I'm going to have mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, steamed vegetables, and pumpkin cheesecake. No, I haven't invited anyone to join me or planned a big party. I'm just going to spend the day cleaning and cooking a nice meal for myself.
