I'm still kinda stunned that it's time for the World Series.

My mom is still a little miffed at me for being born smack in the middle of the 1956 World Series (Mickey Mantle was MVP during that series, just to put it into historical context), so it's actually a little late from my perspective.

Should be the first week of October, without fail.

Of course, I'm the person who thinks that ice hockey in July is a little ridiculous, too.
