General Update

So, May Kitty's abdominal ultrasound results were better than expected. It seems that she doesn't have cancer or any other infiltration of the intestines. The vet was pretty sure from what she saw that May just has IBS. They gave her a shot of prednisone and said that we can just bring her back for another shot if her symptoms come back. They haven

i'm glad the kitty doesn't have cancer. as for ansel eating the books, that bodes well for his future as a scholar. :)

My mom used to make these DEEEEEElicious sourdough waffles. Ahh! If only I could do that someday. In this house we have tried to keep sourdough starter around, but it always just gets gross.

Yeah, we kept it in the fridge ... I don't know what went wrong. Maybe we didn't use it often enough? It would just fester and then get nasty. I think we weren't taking proper care of it. I should look into it again.

Hmm, I wonder. The instructions I have say to feed it once a week, but that's all I really know.
