Vivienne Westwood, John Galiano- (both for Christian Dior and his solo stuff) and Jean Paul Gautier off the top of my head.

Galliano for sure. His self-titled line, not Dior really.

Christian Lacroix has done a number of costumes for ballett/opera that were inspired by 19th century fashion.

If you're still in NOLA, while I don't know any designers off hand, I can direct to you a few stores that may be of use to you:

Meyer The Hatter: 120 Saint Charles Ave

The Funky Monkey on Magazine street (3127 Magazine, to be exact) may have a silly name, but you'd be surprised what you can dig up in that shop.

And, for a lark, I suggest taking a look in Miss Claudias @ 4204 Magazine. Among the rather silly there are occasional gems.

This is probably nothing that you need, but I hope it helps.

On a side note, I'd suggest hunting down a place called Reverend Zombie's Voodoo shop on St Peter near the Cathedral and go into the side store with all the mints and cigars and see how long it takes you to spot a picture of yourself either on the counter or the back wall.
