Fun find in a vintage store the other day . . .

I tried it on, of course. It was in great shape and very cozy (it had a quilted lining), but it was a men's XL and the armholes were halfway to my waist, so, sadly, it did not come home with me. But fun to see hanging on a rack. :)

Wow, great find. Was it expensive? These vintage shops tend to be. Would have loved to see it, might have bought it. I have the David Soul tour version of Hutch's jacket, but it's black.

It was pretty inexpensive compared to a new one - $17 (not quite £11?). Seriously, I would have snagged it if it had fit me even remotely (and I am not a small person). My teen-aged daughter (at whose behest we were in the store to start with, and who is usually pretty indulgent of my S&H whims) thought it was cool but so oversized she refused to let me consider it. :D Sigh. Maybe I should have gotten it anyway? Force my 6'4" husband to wear it? Yeah, that would go over really well. :p

Wish you had got it. I would have bought it from you.

Well, I will be sort-of in the vicinity tonight, maybe I can stop in. You'd have to pick "Newark Catholic" letters off the back of it, though. It'd be much better if it said "Duluth High." :D

I love when I see stuff that reminds me of them! Usually I get smiling and no one around me understands why, but I am happy anyway!
