Jane Eyre

So I have seen Jane Eyre (the new one). No one told me Harry Lloyd was in it! Just a bit part, Richard Mason, but still it was pretty cool. Overall, it was lovely.

I've never seen an on-screen Jane Eyre; I might try to see this one. It's a book I read several times as a child and never since. I'm not sure what I'd think of it now. I suspect my sympathies would mainly lie with Bertha!

Have you read Wide Sargasso Sea? It's the story of Bertha's childhood and marriage. Frankly I hated it, but it was rather interesting.

And the film was very good, I recommend it!
