The sun had begun to set, falling down on the horizon in an explosion of orange. It wasn’t particularly splendid or anything outstandingly memorable, but for anyone out on a calm, evening stroll it provided a nice background and some warm lighting.

Heh. Um... thanks for the comment. Shoot, I shoulda said something - I REALLY kinda wanted criticism on this little bit. For once, you can point out any and all mistakes. (I see that I inserted a random "h" in the fandom label thing.) This is my first writing venture in a rather long time, so i am SELF-CONSCIOUS about it's worth/merit/goodness/read-a-bility/etc.

But I do appreciate your enthusiasm. Hee - I don't know why you like this fic so much, but it really means a lot to me that you do. I'm trying to get more written. I'm REALLY TRYING. *wipes brow* Gotta work!
