It is so interesting to read this in parts. This section was the culmination of the previous three. All of the set up led to the two of them negotiating their relationship at a dining table. Lea pulling the list of questions and demanding answers is second only to her reaction to Dianna saying this “How about we move to the next question and I’ll help to explain your submission better when we get home?”

I'm leaving my comment here and not at the end because this part got to me. Id never really gotten the whole dom/sub deal. I've had people tried explaining it to me.. and it didnt make sense until now.
While I know there are many people who wont see it exactly like these characters perspective, it was interesting to see how Dianna (the character of course) explained it and what it took and how Lea understood that information.
Interesting subject and interesting way to go about it. You've def shed some light into a couple of things.

I want to say a really big thank you for your comment. I think there are quite a lot of misconceptions about what a D/s relationship is or could be about. There are a lot of different interpretations and that's okay as well. This fic is just one perspective and unfortunately, not a complete one. I had hoped to extend it further than this, but I ran out of time and there were a few times I was worried I wouldn't even finish.

I'm really glad that it made a little sense to you, or at least made it a little easier to understand. I am in no way an expert on a D/s relationship, but I did do some research for this and got some advice and such because I wanted to make it as believable as possible - in terms of the topic.

I think you explained it rather well, as you mentioned its one perspective and not even a complete one at that.
That’s what so wonderful, someone can read this and they can take what they want from it and in some instances see and more importantly understand a different point of view.
I liked that behind all the sex and power and so call domination you went with something basic, yet fundamental which was trust and the many emotions of going though such act. It wasn’t purely physical, there was so much more than that. I think that was a great way to approach this and show another side of these types of actions. You made it believable. So thank you for sharing.

No you managed the perfect balance. It was an important point, so it didn't seem off that Di kept explaining, it more seemed caring, because she really wanted Lea to make an informed decision. :D But she also showed and didnt just tell. :D It was perfect.

I love seeing work like this. It shows how Dom/sub relationships work (I am actually in one as a sub, that its not about whips and leather and handcuffs and yes while that CAN be involved and is sexy the emotional side of submission is very sensual as well. Also it's a pretty much cliche D/S role with Di and Lea here. Sub's are quite coomonly very confident, overt people and Dom's are often quite reserved and very rarely take the limelight in real life. If you look and Lea and Dianna's interviews, Lea takes the majority of the questions and Di will make a few comments. D/S play and lifestyle gives people the chance to act out or live in the part of themselves that isn't scene publicly but in an intimate relationship and you've really captured that here....so...yeah. Awesome, sensual and realistic work.

First off, thank you so much for reading this fic and leaving feedback and enjoying it, especially as someone in a Dom/sub relationship.

I didn't want to write a fic that explored the lifestyle without doing it "properly" (I'm just going to use that term for now). I'm not actually involved in a D/s relationship, and I wouldn't be adverse to it, if I were ever introduced to the to it properly.

I didn't know that subs are more commonly very confident and overt, but it certainly makes sense. I struggled a little with keeping Lea the sub because it is so easy to make her a Dom, but I hope I made it believable enough this way.

I just want to say a big thank you again for reading and leaving feedback. I really appreciate it and I hope that if I do attempt writing a follow up to this, that I do it justice. Thanks. :D
