Base Game 'Bella' Outfit
I know the 'Bella dress' is a classic outfit that's very recognizable and has been around since the beginning, but it still looks pretty awful if you ask me (just like everything else from the base game). My eyes hurt every time I see a townie walking around in these, so I just had to try and do something about it. The final straw was this dormie who had paired that red top with the fiery pants. I'm pretty sure nothing can make those pants look okay, but at least I tried...
I removed the silly jewelry, and as much as I love nail polish IRL, I don't want it on my sims, so the painted nails are gone too. I also blackened the shoes a little, and removed the tights because they got all pixelated and I failed to make them look nice and smooth. The textures are a blend of EAxis and mine, and yes I realize they're a bit floodfill-y but I'd still rather look at these than the original ones. And so that no one feels betrayed, here's a close-up of the seams. They're ugly and pixelated and you can see where the top ends and skirt begins, but it's not bad enough for me to be bothered to fix it.
I wasn't going to make any additional colours for the skirt, because I didn't think anyone would really need any, but you know how I like things to match... and then I noticed that they can actually look quite nice with certain tops.
