I just have to write this all down so I don't ever ever forget it. I feel like one of *THOSE* parents that brags about what their kid can do and how advanced they are. No really, I don't ever do that.. except now. I just am so proud of Sarah, how much she is learning, how FAST she is learning. She is like a sponge at this age ( Read more... )

That's cool. Anita & I go back and forth on kids. It's stories like this that are so sweet that really makes me want to be a dad. And then...there are the terror children. You know, the true "children of the damned". That makes me say heck no to kiddies. It's neat being able to see Sarah grow via you guys. She's such a cute kid.

HAhaha, well those children of the corn are really the product of chaotic homes and inconsistent discipline. Consistency and level-headedness are the keys to nipping those tantrums in the bud (I know this from personal experience!!). Sarah knows if she throws a tantrum, she will either quietly get placed in her room with the door shut or get completely ignored (because negative attention is better than no attention). She rarely throws a tantrum anymore.
Anyways.. off my high horse.. any offspring of you and Anita will be so sweet and wonderful and fun. You guys will make awesome parents one day. You have so much love to give.
