posting just after seeing Wanted, which is both awesome and pretty much the stupidest movie ever made. It's The Matrix with better actors and an even more preposterous central conceit. Congrats to Filipino filmmaker Briliante Mendoza, whose film "Serbis" will be screened in competition at the Cannes Film Festival. Not exhibited, but in competition, which is a huge deal.
