wow! It sounds like you had an amazing vacation!

I love the Grand Canyon. We saw it from the Arizona side when I was 14/15. It is just so utterly beautiful and gorgeous. When I can afford a vacation, I'm hoping to convince the boyfr. to go there.

What part of NC were you visiting? I ask, b/c I lived there for two years. I'm surprised you didn't get bit up there! I remember getting mosquito bites just walking from my backdoor to the curb to put out the garbage - and the bites were always the size of a quarter. I really hated the mosquitos there!

Oh, after Nashville I used so much insect repellent even cats wouldn't come anywhere near me! I think I spent more money on bug spray than I spent on food!

We were staying near Charlotte. Last time we were there (2006) we got bit to pieces as well. My bites were about the size of a quarter too. I must be tougher than last time - I had one on my thigh the size of a dinner plate.

It really was amazing. Now I'm in that horrible jet-lagged, anticlimax stage. I looked forward to this trip for months, and now all I have to look forward to is going back to work! *sob*

Your pics are amazing! The places all look so fun I really want to visit these places now. I also have to say you look really beautiful in all these pictures. I feel really mean saying this because these pictures are amazing but could you put some under a cut it's killing my load up a bit really sorry.
