Chapter Six

Harry made a light salad for dinner, sensing that John would probably not be up to eating much. When John finally came downstairs, he’d changed into some lighter clothes, and some of the haunted look had left his eyes, although he was still pale.

“Did you find everything you needed?” ( Read more... )

Wah! You killed them! You switched the poor, adorable boys for their slightly psychotic originals!
Oh well. I'm curious how this little adventure will affect the Doctor and the Master and their twisted relationship. More soon?

I know! I'm sorry! It killed me to do it, it really did. I wanted to leave them like that for ever and ever. The pain is such that I have actually written an alternative ending for this story, that I might post as a joke after the whole thing is done.

But, this story is soooo not over yet. This part had to happen in order to allow the next part. It's worth it, in my view. I'll just cross my fingers and hope you all feel the same ...

I can never usually manage good cliffhangers, so I'm kind of chuffed to bits with myself, actually ;P

Next part later today. It's very short, but it leads directly to the sequel. Which isn't.

Thanks!

This was the sweetest, most beautiful chapter ever, and, and... *bursts into tears*
I really liked those guys - I hope the Doctor and the Master don't screw things up now they're themselves again.

(My favourite part was Harry seeing the Doctor and the immediate aftermath of that.)

Thank you!

I know, I loved them, too. They were so lovely. I wanted to keep them, but obviously ...

Unfortunately, the likelihood of things not being screwed up is ... well, slim to none. But I'm aiming for a happy ending, and we're only halfway there.

That part was one of the original ideas I based the story on, and was actually the very first part I wrote down. Honestly - I listed the bits I wanted to include in an Excel document, and that one was first.

More later today :)

That Doctor. He can't just wait until the 3 months are up and maybe give them more time to feel secure in what's underneath the pain and fury of their real-time relationship. No, he has to end it. Grr. Lovely, lovely chapter that ends, what I hope, will become the first part of a series? Yes?

Yeah, he has to spoil it. But it's necessary for the next part to happen. It would've been nice to see what would've happened if they'd stayed longer. As I said, I wrote a different ending for this, which I might post after the whole thing's done.

Yes, it's the first part of a two-part series. I'm posting the epilogue to this story later today, and that is the bridge to the second story.

So glad you liked it :D
