Bookmarked. I've been looking for that epithets essay forever! Now I know where to point people to when they're annoying me with epithets. And wow, so much good stuff. (I'm so honored that you included some of mine!) This is going to give me weeks' worth of reading, thanks.

I hope it helps them! They've certainly helped me. But the best writing advice, I think, is to follow your gut and your ear and go with what sounds best to you. If it sounds lovely, than who cares if it has an adverb or whatever, but if it sounds clunky, then cut, cut, cut.

LOL! I guess that is true.

I'm dyslexic and sometimes the rules confuse me. I still try not to fumble it too bad when I write fiction. :)
