 So Part 1 of my big bang fic, Mirror the Sun, went up on avatarbigbang a while back. (It says parts 1 2 and 3 but all of that is actually just part 1.) I've been busy and distracted IRL, so I didn't link to it right away here. It didn't get any comments. Maybe that's because folks are waiting for more, or maybe that's because after three rewrites it still

I didn't comment because, as you noted, it's only the first third of the story. It's certainly an intriguing setup, but I find it hard to give worthwhile commentary on story beginnings.

All in all, I think this round of the Big Bang has been a resounding failure. Fics are going up haphazardly and mostly not at all, few have accompanying illustrations, and none of them are getting many comments. I certainly won't be participating again, especially given the wait to repost the stories.

As you told me, real life always comes first. I hope things go well in that wild yonder, and I'm so grateful that you're continuing to beta-read for me.

I've also commented on Parts 1-3. I enjoyed reading them and (as stated in the review) the work you put in really paid off. Good job, and never doubt that all the writing and thinking you did helped you learn and improve.
