No, I'd be so upset if my ICloud ate my story. As it was, last night I lost a paragraph of writing when my Google.docs decided to screw with me. I nearly threw my laptop.

Yep. I can relate. When I realized this had happened I cried. Then I got frustrated and angry. Now I’m trying to rewrite and crying again. So many lost words! Wah!

Congrats on your artist! And sorry about losing words--that used to happen to me all the time until finally I got so paranoid that I stored copies of everything everywhere. Good thing too, because my laptop decided to turn into a patio paver a couple of days ago. You would have heard my scream from space if I didn't have a basquiilion backups.

Also, I always thought my rewritten stuff was better than the old stuff, if that helps. :)

I appreciate that. I’ve been telling myself “it’s all in my head. I just need to write it down. It’ll be better the second time.” But I’m still crying! You’re right; backing up insanely is the only answer. If I’d only emailed it to myself as soon as I finished it!

Thank you! Crying helps. But all sadness is tinged with joy (or vice versa!) and I am SO HAPPY about my artist!

Agh, it really sucks that you lost part of your story, 4K is quite a lot. But I know you'll be able to rewrite, and it might end up being even better than it was. Good luck, bb. <3
