I hated My Best Friend's Wedding, too. Also, Meet Joe Black. Brad Pitt as Death? I don't think so. My friends and I immediately dubbed it this overly long and boring movie as "Seven Years of Brad Pritt."

I'm glad I'm not the only one who hated My Best Friend's Wedding! My intense hatred of that movie has become something of a running joke with my family.

I've never seen Meet Joe Black (I tend to skip Brad Pitt movies), but that sounds terrible :(

Oh dear god, yes. My Best Friend's Wedding was a TRAVESTY. I have NO idea how they thought Julia Roberts' character could possibly come off as likeable, Rupert Everett might as well have just repeated "I'm the sassy gay friend" instead of speaking any actual lines, and guys that look like the 'hero' of the film and have his wet towel personality? They don't get to choose between Julia Roberts and Cameron Diaz. They get to choose between Tori Spelling and Britney Spears. If they're lucky.

The Ugly truth was just HORRIBLE. Should never have been created even for a lighthearted/no-thinking involved movie.

Clash of the Titan, I just flat fell asleep.

TUT was so predictable & unfunny & had absolutely no charm. I don't think I laughed once.

I like the original Clash of the Titans for the massive amounts of CHEESE in it. The remake was just a flat-out bore that took itself waaaaaay too seriously.

Neither did I. Everything (for me) was very uncomfortably/unnecessarily crude *but then again I am a prude*

I love movies/Shows that don't take themselves too seriously. I agree, too serious. Could have been amazing. Going to try to find the original... hrmm.

hating on two of my favourite films?! i FEAR the day you watch The Royal Tenenbaums! if you ever do :D

but i agree about Katherine Heigl oh god, she makes me want to punch a wall when she talks. Knocked Up is a tragic, tragic film.

Which 2 are your favorites?

Oh, I'll get around to watching The Royal Tenenbaums at some point. I've read a bit about it and that, added to what you've said & the fact that I like Wes Anderson films, makes me pretty sure I'll enjoy it. I keep watching for it to show up on a movie channel (don't have a DVD rental place nearby wtf?).

Katherine Heigl just makes me want to punch stuff. She's always playing cutsy, supposedly-charming characters & she's just not. I find her cold & frosty & wooden.

lol i absolutely love Shakespeare In Love and Top Gun, mostly for the lol factor in the latter but also because Val Kilmer is a boss in it.

we don't have one nearby either! i have to wait until they go down to like, dead cheap and then buy them *le sigh* i have quite a large dvd collection because of my curiosity about movies that then turn out to be AWFUL!

but TRT is not, i really hope you end up liking it now that i've gone on and on about it. i'll shut up about it from now on i promise!

RIGHT?! she's always so stuck up and acts like she's better than everyone else in the movie. she drove me mad in Grey's Anatomy as well. only Alex ever made her dealable.

Eat, Pray, Love was ridiculously boring. I hated that movie too.

I was so excited to see it (I'd never read the book or anything) & the whole time I was watching, I kept waiting for it to get interesting. The end credits were the best part.

I LOOOOVE musicals (& Ewan...and Baz Luhrman's work in general), so I'm not sure why I didn't like Moulin Rouge. I just remember thinking "JUST DIE ALREADY!!!" whenever Nicole would start coughing *is a terrible person*
