A walk to Mudchute city farm and a talk with the llamas just now flushed my cheeks and put happiness in my chest. I think communing with animals in your lunchbreak should be made compulsory. I've been thinking about getting a bike for a couple of years now, and the one I want is on display and in stock at the Puma store, but I've also been thinking that maybe it's not such a good investment. The bike, along with insurance, locks, helments, lights and all the other cycling ephemera will come to around £500 if not in excess of that. My bus pass is £13.50 a week. It would take 32 weeks of me cycling to break even. 32 weeks is 160 days, cycling for about an hour twice a day, through the soot and smog of London town.

The encroaching season has certainly put a spring in my step though. Ho ho, a spring in my step.

And you don't have to get the one in the Puma shop, just as Daniel doesn't have to go to Nike to run. i just don't know...
