25) Are you paranoid?
No. My mother is super paranoid so I seem to go the opposite way.

Lily's version of Amy on the phone with her Mom in Freehold Mall in March.

"Hi Mom."

...

"Yes, I'm with her. We're in Bath and Body Works."

...

"Yes, she's nice."

...

"No, she's not an axe murderer."

...

"Don't worry. I'm not going to let her stuff me in the trunk of her car."

...

"Freehold is still in New Jersey."

Okay...I embellished a little, but the whole "what if she asks you to get in her car" thing still kills me. :-)

And I'm very sorry about #32. I take full responsibility for that one.

Bwa ha ha!!! The whole Freehold not being in NJ is the part I like best :)

Sorry? There is nothing to be sorry about, I'm still fascinated by that story. I finished it last night and I want to go back and read it again. I was in such a hurry to get to the 'ending' that I skipped over a lot of the links in the beginning.

Freehold's not in NJ. *giggle*

I'm with you about the Ms. Scribe story...it is truly fascinating. I started reading on Sunday (when she was only up to chapter 7 or 8??) and I thought I'd die waiting for the end. :-) I skipped through some of the beginning links too, so I'm going to re-read as well. I guess that means I know what I'm doing this weekend. :-)

4'11"

OMG, seriously?:D I never pictured that...:) That makes my best friend an entire foot taller than you.*g* (I'm in the middle at just under 5'6")

Yep, seriously. For a few years I was telling people I was 5 foot, but then when I went for a check-up once and was measured, I found out I was actually 4' 11". And a half, but I don't think that extra half inch makes a difference.

My husband is 6'. Unfortunately my younger son appears to have my height genes. The older one seems to be a mix and is right in the average range.

My husband is 6'.

One of my son's preschool friends' parents are like that, only slightly worse, I think. She's your height and he's like 6'5". When they were first dating, she thought there was something really wrong with her neck. She was in the shower one morning, and she put her head back to rinse her hair, and she physically couldn't lift it back up and had to use her hands to lift her head. Then she realized she was just sore and had exhausted the muscles, because she'd never looked UP so much in her life.:D Her neck eventually caught up with the relationship.*g*

Me, I spent my life feeling Horribly Tall, even though I'm really just slightly above the national average, because I went through a largely Jewish school system, so most of the girls weren't over 5 feet.:) It's Really Weird for me feeling small next to Anna, who's 5'11". And my husband, is a bit shorter than I am.:)
