Saturday morning.  Yay.

Last night I had a pregnancy dream (I'm blaming desert_vixen for it :) ).  It made me want to write a pregnancy fic.  But then this morning I made the mistake of checking out a pregnant Starbuck fic, and I lost all desire for any other baby stories ( Read more... )

How is the pregnancy dream MY fault? :)

You're the only one at the moment that I know is pregnant. So I can blame any pregnancy related issues on you :)

I agree. I think Tom Hanks as Langdon is one of the worst casting moves ever.

There's an enourmous amount of hate out there for DaVinci, but personally, I liked the book. Yes, I know, the ideas really aren't as ground-breaking as it seems, but I liked the way Brown put them all together.

I also agree on the annoying stuff. I haven't gotten around to reading Angels and Demons yet.

I like Tom Hanks, but I just don't see him as Langdon. I'm not quite sure who I was picturing, but it's not Tom (epsecially with the longish greasy hair look he's got going for this).

I can see why some people would be up in arms over the book. I think it is an interesting theory, and I do wonder if it is true. But it is still a work of fiction, and I do think some people are really making it into a bigger deal than it needs to be.

As a sucker for conspiracy theories, I liked the book. I don't quite buy all of it, but still, it was interesting. I think I enjoyed the symbolism and mythology the most, even if most of it was made up. As far as Angels and Demons, I liked that book better, 'cause I'm a fan of Galileo.

Young Riders on DVD?? Wanna have!!! My videos' quality is more than crappy, and I so crave for Cody goofiness and Lou/Kid mush and Teaspoon-isms ;)

And the hot Indian guy who I can't remember his name at the moment!

I used to have in-depth discussions with friends at school over who was the hottest rider.

I'm jealous you have tapes. At one point I had some episodes too, but I doubt that I still have them. I just came back from Walmart and they didn't have the DVD's :(

His name was Little Buck Cross aka Gregg Rainwater... I had a poster of him on my door :)

I'd copy you my tapes (even have undubbed ones), but the quality is so bad... some scene s are in color one moment and black/white the next ... in some the screen literally blacks out.

Buck! Of course! I remembered that the actor's name was Gregg Rainwater, but I just drew a blank on the character. That's too funny about the poster.

My old GI Joe tapes are like that. I guess the VHS tapes were not meant to stand the test of time.

I liked the last Sopranos. It was weird and a big departure for them, but I thought it was really interesting. I am with you on the AJ thing. That was the biggest gut-wrencher for me, too. It was very scary to see that he could just step into the mobster mentality so easily. And true to form, The Sopranos makes me really miss NJ. :-)

those TYR dvds are the devil!
last night I was like "I'll watch one more episode..." then when that was over I was like "okay, one more..." all night.
but when I was watching the first one I was thinking how corney this show was, thenI was like, oh I LOVE this show. and yeah, Buck Cross=hotness.
I have to break out my taped shows becasue my favorite one isn't on the dvd.
I knew that holding on to all those tapes would come in handy!!

This is killing me. I have to get this DVD set. I can see your point about not having all of the favorite episodes. I looked up the other night which eps were in the first season. There were some good ones, but season two has a lot of good eps too. (I became less of a fan in season 3).

When I watched Tour of Duty for the first time in years, I had the same 'OMG, this is totally cheesy!' but I still loved it. I know it'll be the same for TYR.
