I'm rooting for him, too, but I think it's still too early in his political career, at least on the federal level. However, I'm unsure if his lack of a political record would be a potential strategic strength or weakness in his run for the presidency. I'm sure Republicans will find some way to try to injure him. Nonetheless, I still think he'd be better to hold back until another election, even if the chances for the current (and potential) pool of Democratic Presidential candidates is otherwise abysmal, unless the masses elect a Democrat simply because the Republicans are corrupt or without any greater sense of realism
