Haven't done one of these in a while but I need something to distract me from the rollercoaster of a third set in the US Open semifinal (where they are playing a set long game of let's trade breaks back and forth that'll be lots of fun). For some reason I'm more nervous now that Roger's ahead 2 sets to love than I was when he was down a break in

I read and commented on "It's The Way Things Grow" and I cannot thank you enough for recommending this story! I don't read Harry but this story is just beautiful! I loved watching their relationship grow! *happy sigh*

Heh yeah I took tennis in gym in highschool (wish I had discovered it a little sooner because I maybe would have liked to learn it for real) so I had the basics of the scoring down but while I watched it on and off I never really got into it until 2003. I watched a lot of tennis and finally managed to figure it out.

I don't really like team sports. In the past I've watched Figure Skating and Gymnastics. There are lots of things I really like about Tennis and Roger is definitly one of them... :-)

Well it's always nice to have something pretty to look at. But Roger's beauty is in his talent more than his looks...though those are nice too. ;-)

But honestly I adore the game and really want to learn how to play. There really aren't any places to learn where I am and when I was in California I wasn't around long enough to settle down and take some lessons and in Savannah I didn't have any money to bother. Plus I'd have to find an adult beginners class so I wasn't learning with little kids... :-P

Glad to hear you enjoy LOTR fandom since the RPS side is mostly what I write and yammer about but I have a feeling that the Potterverse will crop up more often.

Yes I love Draco/Neville it was the only slashy pairing I read back when I first got into the fandom. Well Lust of Pendle since it was the only one that was around at the time. As I said I actually like other pairings for them I'm fairly open in the Potter fandom. But they're always my fallback pairing for sure. :-)
